It is Sunday morning - 6:15 down here and 7:15 up there (Nica and Houston are in the same time zone but they do not have daylight savings time). We are praying for your worship this morning. We pray the presence of Jesus Christ will be very, very strong in each of you.
The Lord is at work here reaching His children with the simple message - God loves you. We are reaping a wonderful harvest in the Lord. Thank you for your prayers. We need them. The warfare is very strong down here. There is a lot of legalism and false teaching that we are being confronted with. Praise God the name of Jesus is stronger than any other name. Praise God that truth overcomes darkness.
You should be very, very proud of your fellow church members. Steve Lyford, Barry Yeats, and Nolan Bell have all preached in front of crowds well over 100 people! Their first time was tough and timid. But the next time is strong and powerful and confident. And the Lord is moving. Laura Morgan is sharing her testimony for the first time and is doing great work. The first time she was in tears. Now she is sharing in boldness. And people are coming to know Jesus. God is raising up Pecan Grove Baptist Church to be lions in the Kingdom of God. And it is exciting to be a part of it and to witness it.
Continue praying for us. We are going to Hebron Baptist Church this morning to worship with them. Pastor Oscar Perez has been with us all week. He and his wife are way alive in Jesus. They are a joy to be around.
Our Lord reigns!

We are here and getting after it. But, when we got here on Wednesday Continental left 9 of our bags in Houston. So Nolan and I had to wait in Managua until 9:00. Which means we made it to Jinotega at 12:30 in the morning. Ug. Stories already. But, praise the Lord, we made the left at the Esso and got here in good time!
Thursday was a great day in the field. Steve and Laura shared their testimonies for the first time. Nolan and Barry preached! The Lord moved. Many, many salvations. Two of our busses did not show up - they found a better deal. The Lord provided two more. We are working with over 200 Nicaraguans.
Please keep praying for us. Pray for strength in serving.
We are praying for you and your worship this Sunday.
